Encountering God Session 1: Introduction

Welcome to Session One of our summer Bible study on the MARKED Podcast! We're studying Encountering God (https://www.lifeway.com/en/product-family/encountering-god-bible-study?mid=om:pod:240527|both|na|women|encountering_god|na|marked_encountering_god_:na:na) , and we're so excited to join Kelly Minter for the next seven weeks as she unpacks the biblical foundation for sacred habits along with approachable ways to practice disciplines like prayer, study, worship, rest, simplicity, generosity, celebration, and many more. Each week, we'll release the next teaching session, and we'll leave the audio up for all seven sessions through August 5.

In Session One, Kelly introduces the study on spiritual disciplines and reminds us that these spiritual habits are foundational to our faith and provide fellowship with the living God. She points out that although practicing these disciplines will provide spiritual results, our purpose is not to get results, but to strengthen our relationship with the Father.
