Does My Life Really Matter? | A Prayer to Rediscover Your Purpose

In today's Your Daily Prayer, Sophia Bricker explores the book of Ecclesiastes and the questions we sometimes struggle to ask: Why am I here? Does my work matter? Is there meaning in the ordinary moments of my life?

Through Ecclesiastes 12:13–14, we're reminded that our purpose isn't measured by popularity, success, recognition, or the milestones we've achieved. Our lives find their deepest meaning in knowing God, honoring Him, and faithfully living out the good works He has prepared for us.

Even the small, unseen acts of faithfulness matter.

If you're feeling lost, stuck in a routine, discouraged by life's circumstances, or uncertain about your purpose, join us in praying for renewed perspective and the courage to live faithfully right where God has placed you.

Today's Scripture:

“Now all has been heard; here is the conclusion of the matter: Fear God and keep his commandments, for this is the duty of all mankind. For God will bring every deed into judgment, including every hidden thing, whether it is good or evil.” — Ecclesiastes 12:13–14 (NIV)
