Does God's holy spirit speak to us? Moments that Matter, Christian Questions

God’s spirit is his power and influence. The Bible introduced it as the power that made creation work. In the Old Testament it gave prophets the ability to reflect God’s will in their words and writings. It gave the powers of miracles and of creativity.

In a recent podcast we observed that when God’s spirit came to Jesus, it dwelt within him in contrast to simply being an influence as with those before him. This new application of God’s power would only be further offered to Jesus’ true disciples.

So, how does God’s power work in us? Does it take over, talk us through problems or perform miracles to bring us abundance?
