Does Christian liberty give us freedom of choice? (Pt . II) Christian Questions, Moments that Matter

Because our freedom in Christ is a sacred privilege and not a license for self-indulgence, it comes with “guardrails”, moral boundaries that guide believers toward righteousness and away from licentiousness. There are three key areas in our lives where our liberty can easily be misapplied:

How we act: True liberty leads to loving service, not fleshly indulgence. Our irresponsible behavior can harm others and dishonor Christ and we must consider how our actions affect those with weaker consciences.
What we say: The distinction between “my truth” and “THE truth” is critical. Christian liberty does not grant freedom to redefine doctrine based on personal feelings. Instead, we must be “doers of the Word and not merely hearers”.

How we pursue peace and joy: Our liberty includes the freedom and responsibility to surrender fully to God with vulnerability, humility, confession, and submission.

How do we realistically apply these freedoms in our lives and what is NOT true liberty? For the answers to these questions and supporting scriptures listen to the full podcast:
