Do I suffer from rapture anxiety? (Pt. 2) Moments that Matter, Christian Questions
In part one of our three-part series we examined much of 1 Thessalonians 4:16, “For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel.” We found that this shout and voice were spiritual and could not be perceived by human ears.
In a recent podcast we talked about the next element in the verse, the trumpet of God. We believe this trumpet fits the same spiritual description, but what does it signal? Acts 3:21 tells us that Jesus’ return signals the times of final restoration. This trumpet signals this restoration. Why? In ancient Israel God commanded for a trumpet to be blown every 50 years signaling a year of Jubilee. That meant all things were to be restored to the way God had designed them. Jesus returns with the trumpet of final restoration!

We elaborate on the meaning of this trumpet and what the dead in Christ rising first entails. We then go into the big questions of timing. Do all Christians who are alive at this time simultaneously rise up to heaven when this happens as the rapture teaches? The true answer to this question doesn’t come from Christian tradition. It comes from careful study of scripture. What does this all mean? For the answers to these questions and supporting scriptures listen to the full podcast now:
