Did Muhammad Really Say This About Women? Live w David Wood

This will be an hour live stream with David Wood @apologeticsroadshow where we will be reviewing the conversation that took place between Dr. Shabir Ally and Dr. Saffiyyah Ally regarding Islamic teachings about women. In that discussion, they focus on certain ahadith that are seen as degrading to women, such as the claim that the majority of people in Hell are women, and the narration that women are created from a crooked rib. Shabir Ally raises serious concerns about ahadith suggests that these ahadith should simply be rejected, saying the Prophet would not have said such things. In this stream, we’re going to look at those claims and discuss the implications. If some hadiths are rejected like this, what does that mean for the rest of Islamic teaching? David and I will be talking through these issues and what it means for consistency and authority within Islam.
