Hey guys! This week we watched Sly Lives! (aka the Burden of Black Genius) on HULU. We covered “Dance to the Music” early on when we started playing together as a band and were familiar with their music, but not their story. The documentary was fantastic, and we learned so much about their history and Sly’s life. We were inspired by this movie, his artistry and enthusiasm for creating.
