Colt Clark and the Quarantine Kids play "Love and Mercy"

Hey guys. We were so saddened to hear about Brian Wilson's passing on Wednesday. Everyone has a connection to The Beach Boys, from hearing their fun, early surf hits to their beautiful melancholy songs of the late 60s and early 70s. Brian wrote and sang songs with such close harmonies that still give us goosebumps today. Aubree and I had, "God Only Knows" in our wedding and every time I hear it, I tear up. A few years ago Cash and Beckett listened to, "I Get Around" and "Good Vibrations" every day on repeat for a year straight, hearing new things with each listen. Brian's music helped to spread joy to so many. In this song especially, he wrote simply, expressing his feelings succinctly and directly, in the way we all feel them but aren’t always brave enough to reveal. We had a different song planned for tonight but when we heard about his death we knew we wanted to pay tribute to him.
