Colt Clark and the Quarantine Kids play "Bell Bottom Blues"

Hey guys! Tonight is a special one because we’re celebrating BECKETT’S 12th BIRTHDAY! You might wonder why Beckett picked this song instead of a song with a 10-minute drum solo. 😊 That's not his style. He likes a different kind of challenge. This song came on while we were on our road trip in July and Colt told him this song is pretty tricky because the drummer (Jim Gordon) played the verses backwards. This means instead of the snare hits on 2 and 4 of the beat, he hit on the 1 and the 3. Beckett listened and smiled and said, "Whoa that's weird…I bet I could do that". Well, he sat down and figured it out on his own. At first it was tough because it was uncomfortable and didn't feel natural but he made it feel comfortable and natural after a few trial and error minutes. We love being there for these moments as parents. Beckett is not only a great musician, but a really good boy. It is one of the greatest joys of our life to see the kind, loving, loyal, compassionate, creative, determined boy he is, grow into a young man. We love you Beckett!
