God is a god of order and yet the chaos in our world today may seem to be beyond God’s ability to manage. The fact is, no chaos on any level of creation is beyond God’s capacity to handle. More than that, God has and will use the chaos of humanity as a tool to further His plan.
While chaos can mean complete disorder, it can also mean a disorder that is beyond our capacity to comprehend. What we see as ridiculously out of control, God sees as circumstances that are a means to an end. In a recent podcast, we labeled this as “permitted chaos”.

Chaos exists at every level of life. It’s blatant in things like international conflicts and political rivalries. No matter what our news source is, our response to this chaos is often filled with angst and frustration at the mess. Enter social media, where we become chaos contributors as we, in an unfiltered and harsh manner, further provoke the combativeness we’re already fed up with.
This is a vicious cycle of never-ending unrest. What do we do? How do we deal with chaos without being sucked into the stress of it all?
