Bethany's Three Hour Home Birth with Baby Audrey

I (Bethany) had been planning a home birth since I found out I was pregnant with Audrey.  The birth tub was ready to go and I felt mentally and physically prepared. I woke up on December 22nd to the exciting realization that baby girl was COMING. My water was breaking and I knew that meant her arrival was going to happen one way or another.

The next twelve hours went nothing like I had planned. That's because absolutely nothing happened. My water broke... but that was it. No contractions. NO progress. Nothing. I was beginning to feel stressed out. Thankfully my midwife came over and we came up with a plan.
