Bell ringing for the birthday of HRH The Princess of Wales

The Abbey bells are ringing out to celebrate the birthday of HRH The Princess of Wales.

Our bell ringers are ringing 543 changes of Stedman Caters followed by a course of London Surprise Royal to mark the Princess' birthday today.

The Abbey's ten bells were made at the Whitechapel bell foundry, and can be heard ringing out to mark church festivals and royal occasions.
