Are monitoring spirits watching us? Moments that Matter, Christian Questions
“Monitoring Spirits” are said to be demons who spy on Christians. They look to steal our thoughts, abundance, and spiritually important messages by listening to our conversations, and intervening in our dreams. They bring all they learn back to Satan for his evil purposes.
In a recent podcast we observed a basis for this from some sound scriptural principles. Satan actively seeks to undermine Christian’s lives. He IS called “a roaring lion seeking someone to devour.” This should provoke us all to being alert.

Just because there may be a basis in scripture, does not mean the teaching is sound itself. Be careful! Satan used the truth of increased understanding coupled with a lie about not dying to deceive Eve. We see the monitoring spirits teaching in this same light. Be wary.
