An Undivided Heart for Busy Days | Your Nightly Prayer

Tonight’s Your Nightly Prayer is for the person whose attention feels scattered everywhere at once.

Tonight’s Scripture
“Teach me your way, LORD, that I may rely on your faithfulness; give me an undivided heart, that I may fear your name.” — Psalm 86:11
We often think peace will come once we’ve remembered everything, planned everything, and handled everything.
But Jesus offers another way.

Matthew 11:28-30 says:
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”

Rest begins by coming to Him.

Not by finishing the list.
Not by worrying hard enough.

Not by mentally rehearsing tomorrow until you feel prepared.

You were not created to hold every need, every outcome, and every responsibility in your mind at once.

And your worth is not rooted in how productive you are.
You were made for worship.

Tonight, let God gather your scattered attention.
Bring Him the unfinished work.
Bring Him tomorrow’s responsibilities.
Bring Him the people you’re worried about.
Then let your mind and body receive permission to stop.
