Addiction Killed My Parents... But It Didn't Kill my Faith!

I lost both of my parents to their addiction to alcohol: my dad when I was 10, and my mother more recently, back in 2023. The biggest difference I experienced in losing both of them was simple: JESUS. I have grieved without hope, and I've grieved with hope. And I was able to see Him begin to weave redemption into my family's story, even in the middle of the pit with alcoholism. So whether you or a loved one relates to this story today, I pray that this vulnerable testimony of mine blesses and encourages you to let Jesus be the Savior and to move mightily in your life with radical love, compassion, and forgivness!
