📖 Acts 4:19-20 (NIV)
“But Peter and John replied, ‘Which is right in God’s eyes: to listen to you, or to him? You be the judges! As for us, we cannot help speaking about what we have seen and heard.’”
When Peter and John stood before religious authorities threatening their silence, they answered with courageous clarity: We cannot stay silent. They had seen too much—heard too much—been changed too deeply. And so have we.
As believers, we are called to be bold in our witness, not brash—but unwavering. This passage reminds us that while culture may try to silence truth, God’s truth demands a voice. And His Spirit equips us with courage to speak it.
