A Prayer for the Day ahead
Heavenly Father,
As I stand before You now,
preparing to face the challenges
and opportunities of the day ahead,
I come to You in prayer.
I acknowledge Your presence in my life
and seek Your guidance and strength.
Grant me clarity of mind, Lord,
that I may approach each task
with wisdom and discernment.
Help me to focus my thoughts
and actions on what is good,
honorable, and pleasing to You.
Remove any distractions or doubts
that may hinder my progress.
Fill me with Your love and compassion, Father,
that I may interact with others
in a kind and gracious manner.
Help me to see the needs of those around me
and to be a source of support and encouragement.
May my words and actions reflect Your love
and bring glory to Your name.
Give me strength and perseverance, Lord,
to overcome any obstacles or challenges
that come my way.
Remind me that I am not alone,
for You are with me always.
Help me to trust in Your faithfulness
and to rely on Your provision.
Guide me, Lord,
in the decisions I make today.
Open doors of opportunity
and close those that are not aligned with Your will.
Lead me along the path
that leads to Your purpose for my life.
Finally, Lord, I surrender my plans
and desires to You.
May Your will be done in and through me.
May my thoughts, words, and actions be pleasing to You,
and may I bring glory to Your name in all that I do.
In Jesus' name, I pray.
