One season ends.
Another begins.
And somehow, God makes even the transition beautiful.
But letting go in our own lives doesn't always feel beautiful.
Maybe you're entering a new season you didn't choose.
Maybe something familiar is ending.
Maybe God has been revealing an old habit, attitude, hurt, or way of living that you need to release.
Or maybe you're simply wondering what He wants to do next in your life.
In today's Your Daily Prayer, Lynette Kittle reflects on the changing season of autumn and the promise of 2 Corinthians 5:17:
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!”
Autumn reminds us that change doesn't always mean God has stopped working.
Sometimes what looks like an ending is simply part of a transition.
And spiritually, Jesus offers something even greater than a seasonal reset: new life in Him.
As autumn begins, take a moment to ask:
What am I carrying from an old season?
What might God be asking me to release?
And where does He want to make something new in me?
