Prayer to Thwart Evil Plans of the Enemy
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come to You today
with grateful hearts,
Thanking You for Your love,
mercy, and grace.
We acknowledge
that you are the Almighty,
Sovereign God
who has the power
to thwart any evil plans of the enemy.
We ask for your protection
and guidance in our lives,
families, communities, and nations,
as we face the forces
of darkness and evil.
Lord, we pray that
You would help us
to stand firm in our faith
and resist the devil's schemes.
We ask that
you would fill us with your Holy Spirit,
so that we can discern the spirits
of deception and lies,
and have the courage
to speak truth and
righteousness in every situation.
We pray for the strength
to overcome the temptations
and distractions
that can lead us away from your will,
and the wisdom to recognize
the signs of danger and evil
that threaten us.
Father, we know that evil plans
are always at work in the world,
seeking to deceive, destroy, and divide.
But we also know that
your Word is powerful and true,
and that it can overcome
any scheme of the enemy.
We claim your promises, Lord,
and we trust in your unfailing love
and protection.
As the Psalmist says,
"The Lord is my rock,
my fortress, and my savior;
my God is my rock,
in whom I find protection.
He is my shield,
the strength of my salvation,
and my stronghold" (Psalm 18:2).
We pray that
you would thwart the plans of the wicked
and bring justice to the oppressed.
We pray for the victims
of violence, abuse, and injustice,
that you would comfort them
and bring healing to their wounds.
We pray for the leaders of our nations,
that they would seek
your guidance and wisdom,
and govern with justice and mercy.
We pray for our communities,
that they would be places of peace,
love, and unity,
where people of all races and backgrounds
can live together in harmony.
Lord, we also pray for our enemies,
as you have commanded us to do.
