Are you tired—but still pushing?
Sometimes we wait until we're completely drained before giving ourselves permission to stop. We keep working, serving, caring, answering, and accomplishing until there's almost nothing left.

But Jesus modeled something different.
Mark 6:31 says:
“Come with me by yourselves to a quiet place and get some rest.”
In today's Your Daily Prayer, Tammy Darling reminds us that rest isn't something we should feel guilty about. Jesus and His disciples intentionally stepped away from constant demands, and Scripture repeatedly reminds us that our bodies and souls need restoration.
Maybe your "battery" is flashing red today.
You don't have to wait until you're completely depleted.
Find some solitude. Do something you enjoy. Laugh. Take a nap. Spend quiet time with God.
Rest isn't a reward for getting everything done.
Sometimes it's part of what enables us to faithfully continue the work God has given us.
🙏 If you're exhausted today, pray with us and ask God to show you where you need to slow down and recharge.
