A Prayer to Prioritize Your Time Better | Your Daily Prayer
Do you ever feel like there aren't enough hours in the day?
You buy another planner.

Make another list.
Try another routine.
But somehow, the responsibilities keep piling up.
Between work, family, bills, appointments, and everything else that needs your attention, it can feel impossible to catch up.
In today's Your Daily Prayer, Emily Rose Massey shares how buying a planner labeled "I am really busy" made her think about the way we approach our schedules.
It's easy to believe that getting organized will finally give us peace.
But what if peace doesn't begin with a better planner?
What if it begins with remembering what matters most?
Jesus tells us in Matthew 6:33:
"But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you."
These words come from Jesus' teaching about worry and trusting God with our daily needs.
He doesn't tell us that responsibilities will disappear.
He invites us to seek God's kingdom first, even when life feels uncertain or overwhelming.
Maybe you can't eliminate every obligation.
Maybe you still have bills to pay, children to care for, and work that needs to get done.
But you can invite God into those responsibilities.
You can ask Him for wisdom.
You can make room for rest.
You can recognize when distractions are replacing the peace you're looking for.
And you can remember that your worth isn't measured by how much you accomplish.
You don't need a perfect schedule to put God first.
Today's Prayer
Father, when my responsibilities feel overwhelming, help me recognize what truly matters. Give me wisdom to manage my time, courage to set healthy boundaries, and peace when everything cannot be finished today. Teach me to seek You first and trust You with the responsibilities ahead. Amen.
