And that's part of what makes Jesus' illustration so powerful.

The hope isn't ultimately found in having enormous faith. It's found in the God our faith rests upon.

Faith doesn't mean pretending the mountain isn't there.

It doesn't mean we never experience doubt.

And it doesn't mean enough confidence guarantees that God will answer every prayer exactly as we've imagined.

Faith keeps bringing the impossible thing before the God for whom nothing is impossible.

We grow that trust as we spend time with Him.

As we read His Word.

As we pray.

As we obey.

And as we remember His faithfulness.

If your faith feels small today, don't wait until it feels enormous before coming to Jesus.

Bring Him your mustard seed.
