And for many parents, that's the hardest part of a new school year.
What conversations will they hear?
What friendships will they make?
What challenges will they face?
Will they have the courage to do what's right when you're not there to guide them?

Our children won't face the same circumstances Daniel did, but they will encounter situations that require wisdom, discernment, courage, and integrity.
And while we can't make every decision for them, we can help prepare them.
We can teach them Scripture.
Pray with them.

Encourage them to show kindness.
And remind them that their identity is rooted in Christ.
Today, we're praying for a new school year filled with protection, healthy friendships, spiritual growth, and opportunities for our children to reflect God's love.
You can't be beside your child every moment. But you can keep pointing them toward the One who never leaves them.
Today's Prayer
Heavenly Father, as our children begin a new school year, please watch over them. Give them wisdom when they face difficult choices, courage to stand by their convictions, and kindness toward everyone they meet. Help them develop healthy friendships and give us wisdom as parents to listen, guide, and encourage them. May our homes be places of peace, truth, and grace. In Jesus' name, amen.
