A Prayer for Wisdom and Growth
Your Daily Prayer
When was the last time you allowed yourself to be a beginner?
Maybe you've been doing the same job for years.

Maybe you've grown comfortable with your routines.
Maybe you're afraid to ask questions because you think you should already know the answers.
But what if one of the most important qualities we can develop as Christians is a willingness to keep learning?
In today's Your Daily Prayer, Vivian Bricker shares a touching story about her mother, who grew up with only four books but developed a lifelong love of learning.
Her mother's example reminds us that curiosity and wisdom don't require perfect circumstances or endless resources.
They begin with a willingness to grow.
Proverbs 19:8 says:
“The one who gets wisdom loves life; the one who cherishes understanding will soon prosper.”
Biblical wisdom involves more than collecting facts.
It shapes our character, decisions, relationships, and walk with God.
Today, we're praying for the humility to ask questions, the courage to learn new things, and the wisdom to recognize that spiritual growth is a lifelong journey.
You're never too old, too experienced, or too far along in your faith to learn something new.
Today's Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank You for the opportunities You give me to learn and grow. Forgive me when pride, fear, or complacency keeps me from listening. Give me a humble heart, a curious mind, and the wisdom to recognize what You want to teach me. Help me grow in my understanding of Your Word and in the way I love and serve others. In Jesus' name, amen.
