A Prayer For Unity in the Family

Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today
with hearts filled with gratitude
for the gift of family,
a blessing bestowed upon us
by Your divine plan.
Lord, we humbly seek Your guidance and grace
as we pray for unity within our family,
Father, we ask for Your presence
to be at the center of our home,
that it may be a place of love,
understanding, and forgiveness.
Help us to live out
the wisdom of Ephesians 4:3:
"Make every effort
to keep the unity of the Spirit
through the bond of peace."
Lord, grant us the strength
to set aside our differences,
to forgive one another
as You have forgiven us,
and to cherish the unique qualities
that each family member brings.
May our love for each other
reflect the selfless love of Christ.
As it says in Colossians 3:14
"And over all these virtues put on love,
which binds them all together in perfect unity."
May our family
be a shining example of Your love,
bound together in perfect unity
by the love that flows from You.
Help us to support
and encourage one another
in our faith journey,
just as 1 Thessalonians 5:11 encourages us:
"Therefore encourage one another and build one another up."
Lord, we know
that unity in the family is Your will,
and we trust in Your guidance
and grace to help us achieve it.
We make this prayer through Christ Our Lord.
