📖 Hebrews 10:35–36 (NIV)
“So do not throw away your confidence; it will be richly rewarded. You need to persevere so that when you have done the will of God, you will receive what he has promised.”

When you feel uncertain, insecure, or timid, it’s easy to retreat, second-guess, or shrink back from what God has called you to. But the Bible urges us to hold tightly to our confidence—not in ourselves, but in the faithfulness of the One who called us.

This nightly prayer helps you trade insecurity for truth, fear for faith, and timidity for boldness rooted in God’s presence.

God,
Tonight I feel small. Insecure. Maybe even afraid.
But Your Word in Hebrews 10:35–36 reminds me not to throw away my confidence—because You’re not done working in me or through me.

When uncertainty, insecurity, or timidity rise up, help me lean on Your strength, not mine.
Remind me that You’ve called me, equipped me, and go before me.
Help me silence the voice of doubt and tune my heart to Your truth.

Give me boldness to keep going.
Peace to keep trusting.
And perseverance to keep believing—especially when I don’t see results yet.

I place my confidence in You tonight, Lord.
You are steady, faithful, and more than enough.
