A Prayer for All the Teachers | Prayer for God's Blessings | Happy Teacher's Day 5 Sept 2022

Welcome everyone.
This is a short prayer
which I have put together
with the help of the Holy Spirit.
I urge you to join me as I pray..

Let us pray:
Loving God, all wisdom and knowledge, comes from You.
Thank You, that You are the teacher of truth and life,
who shows us the way,
that leads to happiness, peace and eternal life.
God of love and mercy,
humbly we come, and place before You
all our loving teachers today.
We ask You to shower Your special blessings upon them,
as we celebrate Teachers Day today.
We ask You For the gift of good counsel, wisdom and grace
for each and every teacher,
as they prepare to lead their students each day.
God of Knowledge, fill all our teachers with Your understanding
as they instruct and teach others.
Help them to see,
the individual potential of every student they teach
and encourage them to bring out their best.
When they feel tired and weary,
Fill them with Your Holy spirit,
so that they find strength, peace and patience while teaching.
Protect their physical, Mental and spiritual health, dear God.
Fill them, with the energy and inspiration they need,
to keep teaching effectively.
Remind our teachers,
that they have the incredible ability,
to make a difference
in the lives of the students they teach and guide.
Remind them of the importance of the work they do,
in shaping and building
the future of the next-generation.
Help us, their students,
to give them the respect, love and care they deserve
at all times.
Pour out Your grace and mercy on them
when they feel like they have reached their limit,
and they feel like giving up.
Fill them with Your peace,
when they feel overwhelmed by situations out of their control.
Pour out your favours and blessings on them at all times.
We make this prayer through Christ our Lord.
