A Prayer Because the Silence Is the Hardest Part

You've waited.

You've asked for direction.

And still, heaven seems quiet.

Sometimes the hardest part of waiting on God isn't how long it takes. It's wondering whether His silence means He's gone.

Isaiah 30:18 gives us another picture:

“Yet the LORD longs to be gracious to you; therefore, he will rise up to show you compassion.”

Maybe you've done that too.

When God seems silent, it's tempting to work harder, search for signs, take control, or convince ourselves we have to handle everything alone.

But God's silence isn't necessarily God's absence.

A silent room is not an empty room.
