STOP FOLLOWING INFLUENCERS WHO MAKE YOU FEEL LIKE CRAP. Why do we do this to ourselves? We follow thousands upon thousands of influencers who show the highlights of their life without also talking about the hard things or real things in life. Some influencers are just downright discouraging and we spend our whole day scrolling through Instagram comparing our bodies, wardrobes, lives, relationships, etc. I had to give myself a hard reality check when I started feeling anxious and discontent with my life, who I am, and what I look like. God does not want us feeling that way! Once I realized that no one else was allowing this to happen except for myself I went on an unfollowing frenzy! Anyone who I would compare myself to or anyone who left me feeling discontent or discouraged I unfollowed! Christ wants us to take every thought captive and when I realized my thoughts weren’t pleasing to Him it broke my heart. I only want to follow the people who are uplifting, encouraging, and give great advice! I hope you guys can do the same and feel the same type of freedom I have experienced by doing this!
