In todays vlog I want to talk with you all about the importance of rest. Something I have noticed within todays society is the struggle to truly rest - physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually. Itβs so easy to go with the flow of culture and to be busy, busy, busy ALL the time. After seeing my counselor this past week, I realized how necessary it is to take time to STOP doing school, work, and all the to-do lists. Even to take a step away from my phone, texts, and emails. So, I have been trying to CHOOSE to slow down and rest in the Lord - to take a day off to seek Him, to read, to paint, to be in nature and to make sure I recognize that I am just a finite human being who needs the Lord!
