Lets Pray:
Gracious Father, I come before You and confess my fears about travelling. I am setting off on this journey, going to a new place and I am full of fear and uncertainty about the trip.
I lift up to you all the concerns I have about my safety and security, and my anxieties in making this journey.
I lay all my worries down at your feet, Lord Jesus. I know and I believe that it is only through Your mercy and grace that I will reach my destination safely and without any hassles.
Almighty Father, help me to clear my mind before my journey begins. Right now, a lot of things are going through my mind. Fill my mind with Your peace, one that surpasses all my worries.Let this journey be an opportunity for me to appreciate the things that you have given us freely. Keep me safe, and calm any thought that will cause me to be anxious or fearful.
Help me to find joy in nature, the people I meet, and the different things I see along the way.
Heavenly Father, there are many who are travelling today at different places.
As we start our journey today, Lord Jesus, give us good weather. May the weather be clear from our starting place to our destination, and may it continue being good, even when we come back.
Lift away every strong wind, storm, heavy rains, flood and any other adverse weather element, not just here but across the world, so that every traveller can have a safe journey.
You be our guide and our protector on our journey, when danger looms over the road that we pass through, when there is no clear sight of what is ahead of us, when we are not aware of the kind of people we are sharing the road
