Prayer for the Sick and Ailing , Prayer for Healing of the Sick

Lord, In a world
where Health is considered the biggest Wealth,
where we all know that if our health is proper and sound,
we can lead a normal life,
be happy, and walk fearlessly towards our goals.
We all know that
being healthy is the most important need of our lives.
But Lord, many times,
unexpectedly and unknowingly
we suddenly feel something is wrong with our body,
a need to visit our doctor arises
and there we come to know that
a certain sickness or disease has gripped us.
Getting diagnosed with some kind of sickness
can be very traumatic, demoralizing and sad,
depending upon the seriousness of our sickness.
Lord, no one likes to be sick
but we have so many other things to take care of
like family, job, paying bills.
All these things take heavy toll on our body.
We tend to neglect or rather give less time
to look upon the basic elements,
which we need to keep our body healthy.

Lord Jesus,
Today we bring forth to you, all those who are sick and suffering,
all those who are ill,
all those who are critical in hospital,
all those who are undergoing or will undergo
any kind of surgery,treatment or operation,
all those who are suffering from cancer, corona virus
or any other life threatening diseases.

We surrender to you their lives, heart,
mind, body, soul and spirit,
all hurt, pain, worry, doubt, fears and anxiety.
We pray that you lay your healing hands upon all those people.

Lord Jesus, with just one touch from your hand
you have healed the sick and raised the dead.
So lay your Hands and bring healing,
comfort and health to their bodies.
Take away all their anxiousness
and fill them with your patience and peace.
Calm their fears,
give them the courage to fight their sickness, and not give up.

Let them experience the power of your love,
care and protection.
Give them so much confidence and power of your grace
that even when they are afraid,
they put whole of their trust in you.

Lord Jesus, in Jeremiah 30:17, you have declared,
