A Prayer for Saturday.<br />
<br />
Almighty God, I thank You and Praise You, that it's Saturday again, a calming and relaxing day, after a busy work week.<br />
Lord I ask that you would bless this Saturday morning.<br />
As I begin this new day, I just want to say Thank You for blessing and loving me beyond measure.<br />
I also want to thank You for guiding and protecting me throughout the week.<br />
<br />
Lord I thank You for another wonderful day of life that You have given me. I am alive, healthy and blessed.<br />
My faith is strong, and as I walk in the light, daily with you, I feel the warmth of your love. <br />
I am living a wonderful life, and I know that no matter what I face, you will be with me to see me through it.<br />
<br />
Thank You Lord, for being my light in times of darkness, strength in moments of weakness, and for consoling me in times when I am in pain and hurting.<br />
<br />
Father I need You always in my life, Your indwelling presence gives order to my thoughts and priorities, brings peace to my heart and gives rootedness to my soul.<br />
<br />
<br />
Holy Spirit, I ask that this Saturday would be a day of rest. <br />
Give me peace in my heart and mind. Help me to trust you with the situations in my life that I cant control. <br />
Help me not to be anxious, worried or stressed. Help me to fully hand over every area of my life to You.<br />
<br />
Lord God, I come before You this Saturday, and I ask that You would give me eyes to see and ears to hear what Your Spirit is saying and doing. <br />
Draw me closer to You so that I may feel Your precious presence and experience Your goodness.<br />
<br />
On this Saturday I ask you that you teach me. Teach me to be more like You, Lord. <br />
Teach me to walk in kindness, mercy, love, integrity, and boldness. Let me become an extension of your hands and feet to this world.<br />
<br />
<br />
God, I lift up my family this Saturday. As the weekend begins I ask that You would watch over my family. <br />
And I ask you humbly that You would protect each one of them. That You would be their guide and help in times of need.<br />
<br />
<br />
Father I also lift up to You the needs of my family, and the intentions of those people who are dear to my heart.<br />
I also ask You to be with those who are travelling this weekend. I pray that You would keep them safe, to and from their various destinations. <br />
I also ask You to comfort those who mourn and heal the sick, For you are a Healer, a comforter, a protector and a way maker.<br />
<br />
Heavenly Father, I declare that as I walk in obedience to Your will this weekend, I leave everything in Your care.<br />
Keep me in Your righteous right hand, and let peace rule my heart. <br />
<br />
<br />
I trust in You and You alone, because You are a true living God, who removes all my obstacles, and makes my path, straight and smooth. <br />
<br />
Heavenly Father, I also thank you, for your guidance, forgive me, for getting ahead of your plans at times, and help me know, when to stop and listen for your directions. <br />
Your ways are perfect Lord. Thank you for Your gentle grace and mercy.<br />
<br />
I make this prayer through Christ our Lord. Amen.<br />
