Loving Father, You have always given us the opportunity to start anew, to start afresh.
You always offer us a new day, a new dawn, no matter what has happened before.
Here we are at the beginning of this New Year,
and we would like to take this moment to thank You for the past year, and ask for Your forgiveness, where we have faltered.

We would also like to dedicate this New Year ahead to You - to Love and Serve You,
and we pray that in this coming Year, You would give us Joy to fill our days, Peace to fill our Hearts, and Love to fill our Lives.
Eternal God, You gave us the greatest gift: the gift of life.
In the coming year, help us to use it wisely.
May we grow in generosity, kindness and forgiveness, hope, faith and love.

Lord Jesus, let your Spirit lead us each step of this New Year.
Guide our decisions and turn our hearts to deeply desire you above all else.
We ask that you will open doors needing to be opened and close the ones needing to be shut.
Almighty Father, we pray that your wisdom, your strength and power be constantly present within us.
We pray that you would make us strong and courageous for the road ahead in this New Year.

Keep us far from the snares and traps of temptations and all that is evil.
Do not let us be easily distracted by things that would seek to call us away from you.
We pray for your protective and loving hands over our families and friends.
We pray for your blessings to cover us, we pray that you would help us to prosper.
May there be love in our family always.

Let there be compassion and let us see one another in mercy.
And may there be forgiveness and acceptance, in times of failure and disappointments.
May all our family members and friends, who need a New year miracle be Blessed.
May whoever has had a bad year, face this New Year with hope in their heart.
May all those who have had heavy burdens this year have their load lightened.
