Do we need to believe in a Young Earth or in a historical Adam to be an Orthodox Christian?
In the early church, the idea of six 24-hour days is a hotly debated issue. The emphasis seems to be that God created and is the source of all creation. There is also the belief in a historical Adam and Eve.
