El Salvador 2025 Family Vacation 🇸🇻

Our itinerary is below. ⬇️ Family of five's weeklong adventure in the great and safe country of El Salvador!
We rented a car at the airport for the duration of the trip.

Spent 2 nights San Salvador. Nice to see the city, but not an essential stop.
While there we saw,
- Parque Nacional El Boqueron
- Rainbow slide at the Picnic Steak House
- Iglesia El Rosario, etc.

1 nights Lago de Coatepeque. BEAUTIFUL lake!
We stayed at Cardedeu Hotel Lago de Coatepeque, which was a great spot. Restaurants at the hotel were on point.
- Jet-skied on the lake
- Climbed Santa Ana Volcano - a challenge, but everyone made it up just fine, including our six year old. (Parque Nacional Cerro Verde)

Visited Tazumal - Mayan site - on our way to Concepcion de Ataco.

Spent two nights at Piemonte Casa, booked via Airbnb.
- Visited Cafe Albania - big maze, zip lines, rainbow slide
- Seven Waterfalls
- Coffee tour

2 nights in Playa San Blas, near La Liberdad.

Very safe and beautiful country, recommended!
