Would Paul Keep the Word of Wisdom?
Peter—the lead apostle—is eating with Gentile Christians…
until the rule-keepers show up.
Then he backs off.
Paul rebukes him publicly:
“You’re not acting in line with the truth of the gospel.” (Galatians 2:14)
Why?
Because when you add rules to belonging, you distort grace.
Now think about the LDS Word of Wisdom.
No coffee. No tea. No temple recommend without it.
But Jesus never taught that.
Paul’s message?
Don’t rebuild walls Jesus already tore down.
Real talk:
Would Paul be more concerned with your coffee…
or with you trusting rules instead of Christ?
