God Has Been Trying to Update You… But You Keep Hitting "Later."

1. Every update exists for a reason.
Software updates fix bugs, improve performance, close security gaps, and prepare your device for what's coming next.

2. We delay because change is inconvenient.
Updates interrupt what we're doing.
Following Christ often interrupts comfort.

3. You need enough storage.
Your phone literally says:
"Not enough storage."
Sometimes God wants to give us something new...But we're full.

4. Ignoring the notification doesn't remove the need.
Eventually...The update still has to happen.
Ignoring conviction doesn't erase conviction.
Delayed obedience is still delayed.

5. Updates often require a restart.
Sometimes God lets our plans pause...
Not because He's finished...
Because He's restarting something healthier.
A restart isn't failure.
It's preparation.

6. Old software struggles with new demands.
You can't expect old thinking...
Old habits...
Old compromises...
To carry a new calling.
God upgrades the person before He upgrades the platform.

7. Updates close security vulnerabilities.
Old software is easier to attack.
An unguarded mind is easier for temptation to enter.
God's Word strengthens us against spiritual attacks.

8. Automatic updates
I turned mine off.
Why?
Because I wanted control.
Sometimes we do the same with God.
"I'll obey... when it's convenient."
Instead of daily surrender.

9. Every update prepares you for the future.
Developers know what's coming.
You don't.
God knows what's ahead.
You don't.
Maybe He's asking you to change now because He's preparing you for something you can't yet see.

Don't leave this video thinking, "I'll deal with that later." Because every day you delay...You're choosing to live on an outdated version of the person God is calling you to become.
