A Prayer for Humility | When You’re Tempted to Think Too Highly of Yourself (Luke 18:9-14)

In Luke 18:9–14, Jesus tells a powerful parable of two men who prayed—one full of pride, the other full of humility. And it was the humble man, not the religious one, who walked away justified before God.

You feel spiritually “better” than others
You struggle with comparison or judgment
Pride begins to creep into your heart

Scripture reminds us that God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble. True growth in our faith begins when we recognize our need for Him.
