Sometimes serendipitous things happen in our lives and we wonder...was that purely just a coincidence? Or was it God? I truly believe nothing is coincidence with God, that nothing happens by chance because God is sovereign over all things. However, coincidences or "signs" don't always mean what we think they mean, and it is possible to read into things in a way God never intended. How then, can you tell the difference? How can you know if something is "coincidence," or God? To answer that question we're first going to look at what the purpose of signs is biblically, then unpacking a few different texts including Exodus 4, Deuteronomy 18, and Isaiah 48 to identify how God is pursuing you right now and find out, are those coincidences God? <br />
