Lord,
Thank You for the power of words.
Your Word tells me in Colossians 4:6 to speak with grace and wisdom,
to let my words be seasoned and Spirit-led—never reckless, never empty.

Tonight I ask You to let my love speak with wisdom.
Help me not just say what is true, but say it in a way that brings light, healing, and understanding.

When I’m tempted to react in frustration, give me patience.
When I need to speak hard truth, give me humility and clarity.
When I want to encourage, give me discernment to speak exactly what someone needs.

Let my tone reflect Your tenderness,
Let my message reflect Your mercy,
And let my silence—even when chosen—reflect Your peace.

Teach me how to build, not tear down.
To lead others closer to You—not to my opinion.
