Hey guys! Happy Friday and early Valentine’s Day! This Valentine’s Day is special for Colt and me. We met at a Valentine’s Day party 20 years ago and have been together ever since. He wasn’t supposed to be at that party that night, but a fateful thunderstorm rained out his gig, so he swung by the party on his way home. It sounds crazy to say because we barely exchanged more than a few words that night but we both had a gut feeling that this was it. After our first phone conversation, we both knew we wanted to be together forever. We got engaged 10 months later and married 8 months after that. When I look around the room in this video, I am overwhelmed with gratitude for God’s faithfulness in our lives. This house is filled with love that 20 years of life hasn’t dimmed. We have three kids that we not only love but really like and are constantly in awe of. We have 20 years worth of memories hanging on our walls. That’s the best you can hope for in this life, and I’m so thankful to God for the blessings he’s given us.
