1. If You Get a Clear “No”

Many times we will get rejected from a job we wanted or by a person we wanted to date. But because we want those things so bad, we can still wonder if perhaps this is just a test of faith.
When the no is resounding and doesn’t seem to be changing, this is usually a closed door and not a test of faith.

2. If You Don’t Even Have the Choice to Walk Through the Door

If someone got married that you wanted to date, if the company closed before you could even apply, or if the ministry position was filled by someone else – you should not keep waiting. A lack of opportunity is a no from God.
3. If God Opens a Better Door, This Is a Sign He Is Closing Other Doors

1 Corinthians 16:7-9, “For I do not want to see you now just in passing. I hope to spend some time with you, if the Lord permits. But I will stay in Ephesus until Pentecost, for a wide door for effective work has opened to me, and there are many adversaries.”
