John Piper ‘appalled’ by pastors using AI to write sermons

"Worship is not simply right thinking, which computers can do. Worship is right feeling about God," Piper explains.

He tested ChatGPT himself and was shocked by how convincingly it mimicked his style in just seconds! While he sees value in AI for research, he believes pastors using it for sermon drafts should openly credit the AI.
