Colt Clark and the Quarantine Kids play "American Girl"

Hey guys! Happy 4th of July! When Colt and the kids decided on this song for today, I was SO excited. They played it five years ago when we first got started making these videos, but Beckett was playing a cajon and Bellamy wasn’t playing anything. It is so cool to see how far they’ve come! This is one of my favorite songs ever and they knocked it out of the park. It’s hard to explain the feeling of the energy in the room when everyone is not only playing well, but is collectively impressed with each other, and having so much exhilarating FUN. It’s like riding a bicycle as fast as you can go, taking your hands off the handlebars and just gliding. I’m not even playing with them but I can tangibly feel their excitement. I’m thankful that we live in a country where they can feel this free and know that the possibilities in life are only limited to what they can imagine. Happy Independence Day!!
