Breastfeeding Tips You NEED To Know

Struggling with your breastfeeding latch? Here are some tips to help:
Hold your baby close with their tummy facing yours. Make sure their head, shoulders, and hips are aligned.
Use a breastfeeding pillow for support. Hold your breast with your hand in a "C" shape to guide your baby.
Line up your baby's nose with your nipple. This encourages them to open their mouth wide.
Wait until your baby opens their mouth wide, like a yawn, before bringing them to the breast.
Your baby should take in a good portion of the areola, not just the nipple. Their chin should touch your breast, with lips flanged out.
If you're still having trouble, consult an IBCLC for personalized support or go to a free La Leche meeting.
