Paul opens his letter to the Galatians with a bold claim:

“Paul, an apostle—sent not from men nor by a man, but by Jesus Christ and God the Father…”

He’s saying: I wasn’t ordained by a church leader. I wasn’t given authority by human hands.
Jesus Himself sent me.

That’s a big deal.

Because the LDS Church teaches that priesthood authority had to be restored through Joseph Smith.

But Paul’s authority wasn’t restored—it was revealed.
Directly from Christ. No intermediaries. No ordination ceremony.

If Paul didn’t need priesthood succession…
why should we?
