A Prayer for Discipline in Your Time and Priorities

Dear Lord,
Each day You give is a gift. But so often, I let distractions steal my time and busyness blur my focus. I want to honor You with the hours I’ve been given. I want to live intentionally, not reactively.

Teach me to choose what matters most.
Help me to guard my heart from wasting time on what doesn't serve Your purpose for me. Whether it’s scrolling too long, overcommitting, or saying “yes” to the wrong things—show me how to pause and seek Your direction first.

Give me discipline to start my day with You. Order my thoughts. Prioritize my to-do list. Let my calendar reflect Your kingdom, not just my ambition.
Replace chaos with clarity.
Let peace, not pressure, be my guide.

Thank You for loving me even in the midst of my mess. I invite You into every minute of my day.
Help me to walk wisely and use my time to reflect Your love.
