Finding Contentment in the Middle of Winter | Storm Days, New Babies & Everyday Chores/Living Titus2

When the temperature drops to -39, life has a way of reminding us what really matters. In this video, I’m sharing a few glimpses from our recent winter storm, the wind, the cold, and the quiet seriousness that comes with weather like this. Right in the middle of it, we welcomed new goat babies into the world. Their momma did her best, but they needed a little extra help, so they came inside for warmth and care.

Storm or no storm, the everyday work still needs doing. Supper still goes on the stove, groceries still get put away, and the small tasks of home carry on. It’s easy to look at peaceful, cozy images online and think contentment should feel calm and picture-perfect. But real life is often messy, unpredictable, and at the same time repetitive and ordinary.

True contentment isn’t found in perfect moments, it’s found in faithfulness during the normal ones. It shows up in tending what’s in front of us, caring for life in our homes, and trusting Jesus in the middle of both the chaos and the quiet. Creating an atmosphere that is always welcoming to him.

Thank you for spending a little time with me today. I hope this video brings a sense of warmth and steady peace to your own everyday moments.
