End of March Homestead Days: Slow & Easy Days But Busy: Making Syrup, Chicks, Cupboard Designs &...
It's the end of March, and while the calendar says spring, the snowbanks say otherwise! Up here in the North, we're still trudging through a couple feet of snow, dodging snowstorms between rain showers. But the maple sap is flowing, and that means syrup season is in full swing!
In this video, we’re sharing a look at what life’s been like on the homestead these past couple of weeks:
🍁 Boiling down maple sap into sweet syrup
🐣 Welcoming a dozen brand-new baby chicks
🐐 Updating goat shelters for our Mini Nubian does
🛠️ Making a long-overdue cupboard for our cast iron collection
It’s a simple life, full of purpose, projects, and the joy of living close to the Lord—even when the weather can’t quite decide what season it is! Thanks for joining us as we share the ups and downs of homesteading, aging with grace, and holding fast to faith through every season.
